Stimme gelegentlich im Violinschlüssel (nicht hoch). Und der Bratschist Paul Silverthorne hat drei (einsätzige) Cembalo-Sonaten (D/G/A - Kp 278, 427 und 537) für Viola und Bass gesetzt (jetzt G, C und G). Es sind sehr schnelle Sätze: Con velocità, Presto, quanto sia possibile und Prestissimo. Und Silverthorne schreibt: «Scarlatti's tempo indications are intended for a nimble fingered harpsichordist; this instrumentation calls for slightly more moderate tempi. I might suggest Vivo, Moderato and Presto respectively.»
