Soliloque et Forlane ist ein schönes Konzertstück in e-moll von Reynaldo Hahn. Ein ruhiges Andante mündet nach einigen Arpeggien in ein munteres Allegro scherzando im 6/8-Takt. «The charming Romanesque for flute, viola and piano alludes to an Italian dance from the 16th and 17th centuries and features a simple yet attractive scale theme that meanders sequentially upwards until all three instruments unite in octave unison» (H.A.
